Instructor is an AI

Thursday, May 11th, 2006

Okay, here’s what I came up with to prove that my Logic course instructor is a computer program and not a human. We were supposed to prove it logically, which I’m afraid I didn’t lay out that well and then specify fallacies we used, which I’m sure there are a couple, but ran out of [...]

Interview tomorrow

Wednesday, May 10th, 2006

Just today I’ve been invited to apply for two positions at the school. The one I’m interviewing for, “Student Helper” and a tutor in Flash/Director/Authorware. I’m guessing they don’t pay that well, but if they cover my general expenses and such, then I’ll take it for now.
I’ll post my final assignment for logic when I [...]

Stymied

Tuesday, May 9th, 2006

I’ve been struggling with trying to finish this Logic class all day. I really should stop and do something else for a while, but I have an assignment due tonight and a paper due tomorrow. =(

New experiences

Monday, May 8th, 2006

Today, I went downtown to help a friend with her Javascript assignments. But first I went to the student council meeting. She let me park in her space up on Mt. Washington and I rode the Incline for the first time. The Incline is a cable powered rail system of two cars, which goes from [...]

Constantine

Sunday, May 7th, 2006

Based off of the comic book Hellblazer (which I’ve not read), the movie Constantine is about an irreverent supernatural detective/exorcist type named John Constantine, who teams up with Angela Dodson to solve the mystery of her twin sister’s apparent suicide. The movie’s twisted explanation of how heaven, hell and earth are related is that angels [...]

Saturday, May 6th, 2006

This article, Business 2.0: A car that could save the planet—fast - May. 5, 2006 is about the X1, a really cool electric car that actually beat a Ferrari 360 Spyder and a Porsche Carrera GT in drag races. It’s the second fastest 0-60 next to the Bugatti Veyron. Very fast. Check out the video. [...]

“The Last Outpost” by Sambadi.
This is one of my favorites on DeviantArt. Partly because I really like lighthouses. Don’t know why… And partly cause my favorite color is red.
(Thumbnail removed by request…) Don’t know what the big deal was: I was just driving traffic to his art.

This is way cool

Thursday, May 4th, 2006

I was looking around online tonight and was searching Amazon.com for something, when I hovered my mouse over the tabs at the top…and found a really cool zoomout/dropdown navigation box. I’ve never seen it before. I guess I didn’t even try that in the past. And I wondered where all the tabs went. =)

Store signs

Thursday, May 4th, 2006

Went with a friend to Jimmy John’s (a sub place) for dinner, and saw this sign which I commented that I should take a picture of:
We’d love to see you naked but
state regulations require shirt and shoes.
(or something like that) They have a whole bunch of fun signs like it all over their store.
