Yay! One month of posts. This is not the first time I have posted at least a month in a row, but is has been a while since I have posted that often. To ensure this is posted today and since I’m away from my laptop at a friend’s, I’m writing this on my cell [...]

It’s been a really long time since I’ve been ice skating. But when @wingsfrompye asked on Twitter if anyone was interested in going I said, “Sure!” We’d tried last Tuesday, but noone else seemed interested. Today, it appears that enough others were interested so we went ahead and met up. I arrived about 8:30 as [...]

Last time I asked, “Now what?” on Twitter, someone said, “Dance!” Hmmm. What to write about now? I know: music. This evening I decided to sit down and play for a while on the piano as I was waiting for laundry to run. Haven’t done that for quite a long time. I’m fairly rusty, but [...]

Ran across Chrysler’s Jeep Renegade concept over the weekend and totally agree with Engadget’s observation that it looks like the Warthog from the Halo games.
See? Well the concept is supposed to run on a diesel/li-ion electric system and get 110 miles to the gallon. Not bad if it ever made it to market.

One of my favorite computer games to play just to goof off for a bit is 3D Pinball on Windows XP. While my brother is much, much better than I am, I just ran into some secret codes that unlock a few useful features. Cheats, if you want to call them that. Over on TechRepublic, [...]

It was a great time at home. Spending time with my siblings and grandparents. Catching up with some friends a little.
Drove back to Pittsburgh in the fog and rain, though with no incident. Along the way, I finished One for Sorrow, Two for Joy. Nice book. Certainly worth checking out the Disney movie that’s supposed [...]

My brother and I snuck over to the only Apple store in Indiana (about a mile from our house) to buy him a black Macbook. We were hoping to take advantage of the advertised/coming sale, be able to walk away with a computer instead of having to get it shipped and avoid the worst [...]

One of the reasons I like Thanksgiving is that the holiday is a good reminder to be thankful for the things we have. Here’s a few things that I’m grateful for today:
Graduating
My Job
Family and Friends
Apple
Facebook
(I’ll add more as I think of them.)

Headed home for Thanksgiving after work today. I know, it’s the worst day to be traveling anywhere. Plus, I have to travel across the desert expanse that is Ohio. Gratefully, I have two books on CD to listen to on the way: One for Sorrow, Two for Joy by Clive Woodall and Breaking Point by [...]
